We are VR2, we
are the stewards of planet rock-n-roll and “Vintage Rock Radio.” We have the responsibility to protect
and tell the story of Radio and sustain the cohesive union of Rock, Radio and
its’ historic resources.
We are the gatekeepers and recyclers of Great Radio and Great Rock. VR2 considers the sustainable footprint of vinyl records and radio shows. We further realize our choices of broadcast and music and the medium from which we experience this culture, not only effect our human audiences but also the animals we share our air-waves with the environment and frequency we enjoy our music in.
At VR2 Vintage Rock Radio we are concerned with how we effect the music environment. We promise to always play the Greatest Radio years in music and specify artists whose music footprint captures these years from 1965 thru 1985.
We acknowledge “Green Radio” as recycling vinyl thus resulting in zero or low level earth impact creating sustainable recycled, rock, radio resources. This includes, but are not limited to: raw and original music played on musics’ Greatest Medium-”Radio”, through this medium, VR2 promises to showcase artists with minimum waste and maximum pleasure. We measure our sustainability by giving back Radios Greatest Years, Recycling Rocks Greatest Legends!
There is only one planet filled with Radios Greatest Years, and VR2-Green Radio is committed to taking the steps in order to preserve the

VR2's Flagship Station
The VR2 - Vintage Rock Radio Show is proud to have WLFC-FM in Findlay, OH as our Flagship Station. The station signed on the air in 1973 . . . Mike Yunis worked and played there from 1976-1980. The station now broadcasts 24/7/365 from state of the art studios in Findlay, Ohio. The station's 5000 watt transmitter sits in North Baltimore, Ohio and covers a 17 county area in NW Ohio. The primary format is Independent Rock Music. On weekends the station uses a block programming format featuring a variety of music genres including: Heritage Rock, Classic, Heavy Metal, Gossip, among others.
